A baby tracker that works offline

Log it without signal. It syncs when you’re back.

The basement. The plane. The hospital corridor. The dead spot in the nursery at 3AM. Tap it anyway. Bundle of Joy is an offline baby tracker: with no signal, the feed is saved on your phone and sent when a connection returns, so your partner sees it too.

Free for two, no card · Set up in a minute · No ads, no AI, no feed to scroll

The Today screen of the Bundle of Joy offline baby tracker: last feed 45 minutes ago, formula 120 ml, with today’s totals; last diaper 1 hour 19 minutes ago; last medicine 3 hours ago; the feed and diaper buttons at the bottom of the screen.

How it works

No signal? Saved on your phone. Sent when it can be.

There is no offline mode to switch on: an offline baby tracker should not need one. Every log works the same way whether you have five bars or none.

  1. Tap.

Feed, diaper, medicine, any event type. The sheet works as it does online, and the card on the Today screen updates the moment you save.

  2. Put the phone down.

The entry is stored on the phone and marked as waiting to sync. Nothing to remember, nothing to press later.

  3. It sends itself.

When a connection returns, the queue goes to your family’s record and the waiting mark disappears. A failed send retries on its own, and only a genuine problem raises a banner.

Open it with no signal and the Today screen is already there, drawn from the last data it saw: time since the last feed, the last diaper, today’s totals. The app itself is stored on your phone, so it opens with no connection at all. That is the same reason it is fast at 3AM: everything built for the night.

The Today screen in dark mode: last feed 46 minutes ago, formula 120 ml, with today’s totals of one breastfeed and three bottles; last diaper 1 hour 20 minutes ago; last medicine 3 hours ago.

Offline and shared

An offline baby tracker both of you can use.

Bundle of Joy keeps the queue on your phone only until it can send it. Once it has, the entry is in your family’s record, and your partner sees it the next time they open the app, with your name next to it.

  • Both of you offline at once? Each phone sends its own queue when it reconnects, and both entries land.
  • Every entry shows who logged it, whenever it was sent.
  • Free plan: two people in the family. More than two, grandparents and the nanny included, is Premium.

How sharing works, in detail

What it needs, honestly

A few things still need a connection. Logging isn’t one of them.

  • An account, and the first sign-in online. It is what lets two phones share one record. After that, logging does not wait for the network.
  • A screen you have not opened recently. The app keeps a recent copy of each screen you open. A screen you have never opened, or have not opened in the last day, needs a connection first.
  • An entry that is still waiting to sync can be edited once it has synced. Edits and deletions of entries the server already has queue the same way.
  • The pediatrician report. The PDF is generated online. What the report contains
  • A photo on an entry. Premium With no signal the photo button is off: save the entry, and add the photo by editing it once you are back.

Export, invite links and settings changes also wait for a connection.

If your phone dies before it syncs, the queue is still there. It lives in the phone’s storage, not in memory, so closing the app or a flat battery doesn’t lose it. It is sent the next time the app opens with a connection. The one-paragraph version is in the FAQ.

Offline logging is part of the app itself, not of where you got it. On iPhone, open app.bundleofjoy.love in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen: it logs without signal the same way. Using it in a browser, step by step

What it costs

Offline logging is free. So are the limits, stated plainly.

Offline logging is not behind the paywall, and nor is instant load from cache, dark mode or CSV export, for feeds, diapers, medicine, weight, height and head circumference. Three things are capped on the free plan.

  • Two people in the family. Unlimited caregivers is Premium.
  • One baby. A second baby is Premium.
  • The last 7 days of history on screen. Older entries are kept, not deleted, and come back with Premium. The CSV export includes all of it either way.

Premium adds sleep, bath, tummy time and temperature, photos on events, reminders and the Android widget. Free vs Premium, side by side

Questions

About signal. And a few others.

Does it work without signal?

Yes. Log as normal; with no signal the event is saved on your phone and sent when a connection returns, and your partner sees it the next time they open the app. You need to be online the first time you sign in.

Offline baby tracker

How do I share it with my partner?

Send the invite link from the app. They open it, create their account and join your family. From then on you both see the same record every time you open the app, and every event shows who logged it.

Shared baby tracker

Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. On an iPhone you open app.bundleofjoy.love in Safari and add it to your Home Screen; it then opens full-screen and does everything the Android app does except the widget. There is no App Store app, and Android has one on Google Play. Same account, same data either way.

Using it in a browser

Is it free?

Yes, to start. The free plan has feeds, diapers, weight, height, head circumference and medicine; growth charts with WHO percentiles and the pediatrician report; 2 people in the family and one baby; the last 7 days of history; dark mode, offline logging and CSV export.
